Elliot's on the water. ~$1 oysters from 4-5. There's also a great antique shop next door and two dispensaries near by if that's what you're into.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to leverage the hive mind in finding out how best to negotiate a verbal offer for a 100%-remote Product Manager role in NYC, with a IT infrastructure/digital services firm (MNC but non-American):

Base salary: 120k

Sign-on bonus:10k

Bonus: 15%

No stock options

How competitive is this, and what should I negotiate for please? The written offer comes after verbal agreement.

I've 10 YOE in tech project management; 7 in product management.

I’m interviewing for a position that’s a 6-MONTH HOURLY CONTRACTED copywriter position (5 years experience).

Any advice on negotiating salary on that..? I have no reference point on how much that would break down hourly for 6 months.

What’s a good range to negotiate for?

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's ALM in Management. They both have the same requirements (generally speaking) including a capstone course that serves as a field immersion course with the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

Is it generally unwise to switch companies within a year? I just relocated back to hometown and started a new job 6 months ago but I want to relocate again to Atlanta when my lease is up in 6 months. Any advice welcomed.

Found a most enlightening work on decolonial history with tons of TIL moments especially about Anti Colonial movements in Egypt, China, Japan and course India in the 19th and 20th centuries. Most histories this period often adopt a Euro-centric lens but this book flips it and tells the stories of these turbulent times from the vantage point of the pioneering Asian leaders like Tagore, Al Afghani, Kang Youwei etc. Lovers of Asian history would surely appreciate this book
