Any tips on how best to go about asking for a raise? Or how to even set that meeting up without causing a stir. I feel confident that I’m owed a good $30k raise and can defend that. But I am a little worried. Seems possible that as soon as I even ask my boss (equity partner) for a meeting to discuss my salary and future goals he may just call me straight in his office and want to shoot it down. Also, I like my firm and don’t intend to leave if I don’t get my ask, at least not anytime soon.
