Currently interviewing for a Cloud Program Manager role in the PSO. Had my first interview first week of May and the recruiter emailed me two weeks later letting me know that I was going to move to the second round, and asked for dates I was available. Its been 2 weeks (have emailed her a couple times) since I've heard from her. Wondering how I should approach this? 1: EY - FDD, home city, very good $$ for FDD

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.

I received an offer for a big 4 in risk, which I signed early in September, but just now received another offer in TAS from a different firm. While I much prefer the big 4 firm, I do not want to work in risk anymore. Would a big 4 be willing to change groups? Have you heard of anyone able to do this? I feel kind of bad, but I truly despise the idea of working in risk now. ( My friend who's in the role right now hates it)

What is the best path for discovering senior roles in consulting firms? I notice that most don't actively recruit for the Managing Director/high level positions. Is that because there is no job or because you need to come with something special? How do you get the attention of firm recruiters for high level positions to have a discussion about best fit?
