Anyone else not at all relatable to a lot of people and are lonely as a result? I’m a 32yo sober Catholic married dad of 3 and high earning corporate attorney. I used to party and drink and smoke but now I am mainly focused on my family and growing as a person of faith.

I spent the weekend with old friends who drank and smoked the whole time and realized I don’t have much in common with them anymore. At this point I don’t relate to many people my age and I am sure it’s mutual. Bit isolating.

It was 95% situational questions.
Thave used AR's mock exams, and used my wrong answers to figure out my weakness and where I truly stand. I didn't purchase AR's course, just the mock exam simulator.
The 200 agile questions by David McLachlan were amazing, it really helped me in adapting to an agile mindset. TIA simulator n Joseph Phillip is useful.

How much did you all pay for the 20 week ultrasound out of pocket? My 12 week ultrasound cost me $600 so I am guessing the 20 week one would be even more expensive. I have the high deductible plan from United healthcare.

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

I feel like working from home has been the death of my dating life. I used to at least go on 4 dates a month, and I was casually seeing a guy for a while. Post covid, I love my work-life balance but I'm never out. I can't meet people sitting at my desk, and I have no local coworkers to pull me out of the house for happy hour.

Is there anyone who completed the last SHL test and is waiting for the result or call back from HR. For me it's almost a week now after completing the last SHL test but no reply from HR.

Hey guys… I’m a case worker in child safety and I’m someone who loves being outdoors/dies at a desk all day. I’m hoping to organise that at least once a week I can go to a cafe and catch up on all my case notes that need to go into the system.
So far the only reason I’ve been told no is that “if you do then everyone will want to and then no one will be in the office” … how can I convince them that I work better out of the office and get this freedom & mental break for myself?

For those who reads UX books on Kindle, may I ask how is your experience? I’m asking because I’m torn between buying the book (and I’m almost out of space since our home is small) or buy a Kindle tablet to read books there.
