I once did but you do what’s best for your family. Work can replace you immediately. Definitely difficult at first but looking back, it’s been the best 4 years (financially) for us since I made that decision.

Yep, my last job. Felt super guilty as I had some really good coworkers and awesome clients (did homecare). But I didn’t like what I was seeing from management. When I gave my notice I was given numerous guilt trips by several management people. But I needed to do what was best for me. I have zero regrets as I have a way better work/life balance, I’m not putting 800 miles a week on my car, and I make more money. Companies are always going to do what’s in their best interest, we need to do the same!!!

Yes you’re so right !!! I’m glad you made out better ! Again we shouldn’t feel any guilt but I guess we are good people so we do feel a bit guilty
Seriously, it's good to be loyal to a company to a point, but you always have to remember that companies will always do what's best for them. The loyalty does not always extend in both directions. Always do what's best for you and yours, and let the company worry about itself.

I totally agree!
