Am I doing a mistake? Going from PwC to Accenture for $45K more (113 Vs 158), and a role that’s better aligned with what I was doing before joining & what I want to be doing? I joined PwC for the experience and the exit opportunity it can provide me in the future, but it’s hard not to accept this role from Accenture! Decision need to be made by end of this week….
Anyone at Altman Solon willing to give their thoughts on the company/potentially provide a referral? Currently with an internal strategy team at a telecom company but thinking about making the switch to consulting. Thanks!
Want to use an offer to leverage a higher salary, those who have done this before - can I be required to show the letter? Do I have to say who the offer is from? Is the firm going to reach out to confirm the offer? I don’t want to lose the chance for the new role, but I would stay if they could match the offer. Please help!
I'm putting myself back in the job market, and I'm seeing new titles pop up at other consulting firms / accounting firms. Does anyone know what the equivalent title is of Senior Director at Eisneramper, compared to PWC or EY or Accenture? Is a Senior Director the same as a partner, Managing Director, Senior Manager? The job descriptions of similar titles don't indicate if its a client facing position or internal.
Im in the final round of interviews at VMware and news came on Monday that they are being acquired by Broadcom. Is this something that I should be concerned about? I know layoffs can happen after a merger/acquisition but there’s not much overlap between the two companies (chipmaker vs cloud infrastructure). My job will be a Sr Business Analyst role in internal strategy/improvement Any advice from folks experienced in M&A?
Does anyone have any insight into what a “Strategy Consultant” does at Microsoft? Compare and contrast the role with a traditional consulting firm? Microsoft
Does slalom just ghost you after a final round interview? Literally had the white glove treatment the entire time and now I have radio silence after over a week and a half. I don't even think the final interview was bad?

I applied to all three MBB firms via their careers page with no referral. I have my final round with McKinsey, rejected by Boston, and no reply from Bain. Any thoughts on how to verify if I’ve been rejected by Bain even though the portal says it’s still pending for 2 months? The portal will not let me reapply for any position while the current app is pending. Thanks!
Any Bain folks willing to chat and potentially provide a referral for a position I saw posted? Thanks!
How long after HR screen for next round of interview at mbb? I was told I’d get moved to the manager/scheduler person and to wait for their contact. It’s been 2 weeks am I supposed to do something

Input on ghSmart? Was reached out to by their team and have read about it — love the focus area of their firm and conceptually the way the talk about balance, but a bit skeptical and would love to get insight from anyone who works/worked there to understand it better. Specifically, how does the staffing actually work and what’s the reality of work/life balance. Knowing there isn’t junior staff / analysts, how much analytics are you doing and via what tools? How does comp above base work?
