anyone have an experience on Lufthansa from a united codeshare? I wanna book a trip with united points but the flight is LH operated — I’m united platinum, so want to see if would get similar benefits

Yes. LH product specially the 747-8i and A380 is much better. I have travelled multiple times and loved it

like

Apply for a United Global Upgrade for Lufthansa. It is much nicer than United

like

1) With mileage ticket you can get LH seat before check-in, just go to their website with LH but booking code
2) No complimentary upgrades, but access to sweet Senator Lounge with your UA status
3) Premier economy is a separate class, can‘t book online with UA miles but sometimes works by calling UA premier
4) GPU works on LH revenue ticket above W, but not with award ticket
5) Alcohol is served for free in all LH classes

like

If using miles and booking in business, then you're set. If in economy, not sure if you'll get premium economy or not.

LH premium economy is much better than United E+!

thanks! yeah unfortunately only economy is available for what I’m looking at, but is 30k points /way versus a $1,900 round trip, so we’ll get thru it

I do not think that Lufthansa offers assigned seats in economy. You may have to wait until dah of checkin. Star gold benefits like the luggage allowance, early boarding and use of international lounges carry over. Seating options like exit rows unfortunately do not. I also believe premium economy is considered a separate class of service requiring additional miles, unlike united's economy plus which books into a regular Econ fare code.

I booked a Delta flight operated by Alitalia. It presented a challenge when I wanted it to be rebooked thanks to a weather event - Delta couldn't even though there were other flights that would have bypassed it. YMMV.

Quick question.
I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.

Hello Folks,
Can you pls advise on which company to go for.
R-Systems : They are providing WFH + clarity on the project and team for which I’ll be working upon.
CTS : No clarity as of now, only thing I am aware is that I’m a part of full stack community.
HCL : Some clarity on the project but less package than other two.
R-Systems and CTS are giving same CTC.
YOE ~8
Skill set : . Net full stack + Angular + Azure

Thanks
