Anyone have recs for a good chiropractor in Manhattan?

If you do go to a chiro don’t let them manipulate you above your shoulders

The rec is to go to PT or OT and not a chiropractor

Chiropractors are quacks, I wouldn’t ever let one touch me

like

Chiropractors are not real doctors. They are the equivalent of a 8 year old boy in a white lab coat with a Dr. moniker.

like

Have you tried physical therapy? Changed my life, ended 10 years of seeing a chiropractor and have been good ever since!

So that's actually really funny you mention because I wasn't in an accident or like "injured" so I didn't know a PT was even relevant. I told them my back so super tight and I had back pain and they said of course they treat "acute pain." I thought it was a chrio made sense, but after one visit it was 60% better and over the next year, it got all the way better and never got worse again and I grew an inch!!

That many apts is probably overkill for most people but I was a student at the time so I got a bunch of free apts.

Not manhattan but Dr. Vella in Queens has done wonders for me.

They call themselves "doctor!?" 😂

They offer two options: the “traditional” course (which lasts around 2.5 months) and an extended 6-month course. Does anyone know if this is normal? I joined a vault 100 firm in September last year. The firm put me on tier 7. In January I had the associate review and everything was normal. After a couple of weeks, I got the call from the hiring partner telling my bonus and new salary (because of the firm-wide salary increase). I realized I still get paid as a 7 year associate. The partner said because I joined the firm later in the year, it’s normal not to advance in the next year. Is it? Thanks!

Is it normal to not get a perfect review? Just curious . Does everyone pretty much get some sort of constructive feedback?
