Anyone here who came from IT Audit and jumped to Assurance/Financial Audit? I majored in accounting but somehow landed in IT Audit and just realizing that I have no idea what Im doing most of the time. I know I might not survive Assurance hours but thinking if it’s worthwhile to jump ship?

Has anyone exited or considered exiting to being a realtor? There’s decent income potential there, good WLB, and seems like consulting skill sets would absolutely crush the average entrant.

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. Bit of a niche topic: I’ve been in TS/SCI processing for a Science/Tech/Weapons analyst position with the CIA for 3 yrs since I finished grad school in chemistry, but CIA positions are sort of set it and forget it since they can take so long. I’ve since been focused on a Patent Attorney track and am with a firm that will support me taking the patent bar/law school. If I get through processing and go to the CIA for some time, do you think would I be accepted back into patent law later on?

I studied finance in undergrad and had a couple of internal audit internships. I only started a few month ago but I never saw myself doing IT Audit and I don’t like it thus far!
