Anyone in here gotten their PMP certification? I have a potential employer telling me they will hire me as a PM if I get the cert (a massive step up from my current position). I’m an MHA student and I have project management experience from 1 yr of job experience and a few years of being a volunteer coordinator in school, not sure if that will count towards the required hours, the potential employer said it should. Any recommendations?

Pros and cons on getting a designation? Been considering going for the CPCU designation to gain some professional development. Which designation did you go for and why?

Does PHR certification help in India, as this is globally recognised how much valuable is this currently in indian job market.

How would someone coming from mostly retail wireless sales get into the tech sales industry? I have been a top performer in every sales job that I have had since I started my career almost 10 years ago. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.
