HR is not valued at the company and it’s disheartening to know I was hired into a mess. I have a “commitment to an offer” at 150-170k from a BB. They said they can’t give me the offer until Feb/March until they ramp up their current hires and figure out their budget, but the HM said the best thing I can do is to get another offer to use as leverage.

Is it okay to call a sick day as freelancers?

I got a verbal offer from a WPP agency today. The role's budgeted salary is 5k less than my desired salary.
The recruiter can get me closer but still not at my desired salary. Otherwise - it would have to go through a long approval process with no guarantee that the salary would even be OK'd.
I'm coming from a small agency, so I could be wrong - but I don't want to sell myself short by accepting the first salary they offer. Do I have any room to negotiate? Or is that risky?

I really think that some large holding companies are ever gonna force us back into the office. My ECD is based on the east coast. All three of the ACD/CD teams they hired in the past six months are east coast based. Our office is in the central time zone. Yet every job posting says “in person”.
