I had an interview last week (25th Oct) with PWC UK, anyone have any idea when I am likely to find out the outcome. Cant find anything about it online, I am so impatient, I need to just try and forget about it, but I dont want to invest my time in applying for other roles either. Are private companies easier to work at than public companies in accounting? We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?
