I’m 26 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out my leave. I live in NJ and work at PwC, any fishes know the policy for NJ and PwC? The leave center has not been much help and I want to plan NOW not like 60 days before. I was told NJ gets two weeks before due date and PwC gives you two weeks as well.

My dad's a senior software architect getting 35 lpa for 18 years work experience in cognizant. His tech stack is AEM and he has worked on angular and Java Projects as well. Since he is getting underpaid a lot ... Hopefully someone can refer him Adobe or some product companies. Even service company with good pay also is acceptable

Never heard of Rich Russo sry
I am a white woman with two decades of experience. I had a bizarre interview with Rich Russo as well. He told me that he would like to hire me but that would upset the male creative directors on his team to have me come in with more experience and talent than them and for me to have a higher position than them. I had no idea what he was talking about. I then had to listen to him name drop and brag about his fabulous career for 30 more minutes. He then hired me as a freelancer and put me on a pharma brief with about eight other teams. The (male) writer I was to partner with was out of town so is came up with a campaign on my own. When we presented the campaign in a conference room with Rich Russo and 7 other men, I was interrupted multiple time’s by both the men and my writing partner. I was told the campaign Art direction was “too Target” and I defended the work by stating that pharma does not need another senior couple walking on a beach while holding hands and with a golden retriever. The pharma client loved my campaign and bought it. Rich Russo then had me rotated onto another piece of business and then laid me off. When he called me to lay me off “due to covid” I reminded him that out of all of the campaigns presented, mine was bought and is being produced. In which case, he should be replacing his hacks with me and my actual talent that produces revenue for the agency. I was completely cut off and now I have to see my campaign on the air 24/7. It is an exact copy of what I presented and what I have proof of in my time stamped boards. This unethical behavior bastardizes freelancers and I am grateful for this forum to share these hideous experiences. These toxic leaders derail careers for women and minorities.
Don’t believe this ever happened
Coach
Probably the hack 🧐
My agency is hiring. If you want send me your book and I can share! Run away from people like that. And good for you for sharing your experience here.
OP works at Havas, which owns Arnold...hope you took this to HR.
I did and got it documented before I posted.

thats pretty aggressive - you’re really calling this guy out for “racist metoo-ing” so you better not have taken anything out of context, made any liberties about how your race played a role, or you’ll end this guys career - and he can sue you for slander if he gets fired.

Any company worth their salt would do a full investigation. This post alone isnt getting anyone fired, and youre not going to get sued
I worked with him years ago. Avoid at all costs.
Hey Arnold!
You have experienced racist behaviour before, I assume.
Does this look and feel like those moments before? If it does then you have your answer.
No reason asking people who have never seen a duck, what the colour of it's feathers are.
I am sorry this person said what he said. As a white woman, if I overheard those things said in an interview I would deem it racist.
You are not reading him wrong. It’s disgusting, to say the least. I’m so sorry that you were a victim of his abhorrent behavior. I know you may not want to do this, but you could report that to their recruiter/HR. I’ve known similar things to happen and the interviewee chose to do so in the hopes that when brought to light, it will stop. Take good care of yourself. ❤️
Abort!
🤢
Have never worked with Rich, but seems like he’s the epitome of a problem leader. Thannnnnk you for sharing! If you’re still looking, hit me up!
Recently interviewed with him and I’m also a minority female. I was a bit surprised that he took the time to interview me himself since I’ve never had a CCO go out of their way to get to know me on a first name basis. And truthfully, I did not have the same experience as the OP. He was transparent and had an ease to him that made me comfortable right away. It felt less like an interview and more like a friendly conversation. Throughout he asked thoughtful questions and it was obvious he had reviewed my portfolio in advance. He stressed that culture and diversity is important at Arnold. I genuinely found him likeable. I’m sorry you had a different experience than me and I acknowledge that you have every right to speak your truth. It definitely makes me hesitate about taking a job at Arnold but again, I also had different experience.
I’m also a minority immigrant female and worked with Rich. I found him really generous with his praise and just helpful all around. Also thought he was super personable and made an effort to get to know me and my partner. My experience with him happened before OP’s post and I did want to write something before to defend him but felt weird about discounting OP’s experience. But now I do want to put it out there that my stint with him was a good one as well.
Mentor
Damn.
Who?????
😂 Arnold WW more like Cringe WW. Their work brings to mind five dudes sitting on a mustard colored couch snickering and elbowing each other while writing spots with Rich sitting in a chair higher than normal nodding and chortling while saying YES DUDE over and over again. Kevin is stuck on the end and wearing skinny jeans with flip flops. How these CCOs get hired making $500K+ salaries, shows how truly broken this industry is.
Jesus Christ. Wow.
Never heard of him
Burn him.
I figure you outed yourself when you were interviewed by him and identify as Latino/Latina/latinx.
@Freelance, what’s the notification report you posted? Was that your post that was reported? I’ve never seen a notification like that so I’m not sure what I’m seeing.
And what accountability are you speaking of and in reference to who?
DM me and send book.
Sorry, but I don’t believe this for a second. I work for Rich and he passionately supports young, ethnically diverse creatives. He just doesn’t think that way. He’s one of the best bosses I’ve had. Very ‘what you see is what you get’ and doesn’t tolerate bullies which is why he’d never behave that way. Either you read the situation very wrong or you’re treading on very thin ice, legally.
Welp! Thanks for reviving this utterly cringey and informative post, Freelance 2!
