Excitement and anxiety can co-exist.
Like when you ask someone on a date.
Or you’re buying a home.
Or when you’re on a job interview.
If you’re excited and anxious about your interview, but you only focus on the anxiety, you won’t do well in your interview.
Let the anxious thoughts go.
Focus on thoughts that excite and inspire you:
Wins from past roles.
A better title.
Higher compensation.
Positive thoughts will support you during the interview.

I work in US Tax and had an experience of 3 year. Had got an offer of 14Lpa in another big4,but still don't feel like continuing in US Tax. As taxation is something I do feel like I don't want to make a career anymore, because of work life balance & also as it specialised. Please suggest other option worthy to make a career shift. You guidance will be extremely helpful. My highest qualification is M.com.

It took me 4 months from first interview to hire. Don't wait around and expect the agency to be on time. Everyone is juggling multiple clients and as much as they need help, it takes time out of their day to make a collective decision usually. Multiple approval layers at the leadership level. If you get a job offer from one you can kindly write HR and say I received another job offer; however, I don't want to rule this job out as I am still interested. If you could give me an answer as soon as possible, I would really appreciate it!
If you have a recruiter/hr contact over there just reach out saying you're checking in since it's been a week or whatever. Use it as an opportunity to reiterate how interested you are in the position. And if you haven't thanked them for the initial interview, do so as well.
Not sure previous responders understood the situation and it's not the most clear wording, but let's see - if I follow correctly, you want agency 2 to speed up interview process because agency 1 promised to give you an answer by the end of this week. That almost never happens (where they meet their own timing), so don't stress over it yet.
If they do give you an answer on Friday, respond saying thanks for offer and I will take xx time to consider it and provide answer. Then when you meet with agency 2, throw in that you're actively looking and have already received one offer but you're still very much interested in exploring the opportunity with them so how quickly do they think their interview process will take? They'll know you're asking for them to expedite. Also, you may need time to negotiate further your offer from agency 1 such as salary, so that will buy you time with agency 2 interviews as well
Don't project yourself. Ask yourself this same question once the first agency gets back to you. Even if they give you an offer on Friday, say you need more than 24 hours and that gives you until Monday to ask for an extension.
