I’m a senior lawyer with litigation, regulatory, investigations, and labour law backgrounds, conduct investigations & advise on investigations regularly, incl. internal fraud. I have no accounting background. Is it at all possible to switch into investigation work at somewhere like Kroll or similar firms. If there’re any lawyers who made the switch, really appreciate a comparison between in-house legal work heavy on investigations vs. forensic investigations.

i) what is the precise path to partnership after director? Is it true that typically once someone is promoted to MD, that you’re generally not on the path to partner? Ive seen MD’s make partner and ive seen directors make partner. What is the difference in these paths and why?

ii) what is the compensation range for deals Managing Director in a Tier 1 city (NYC, etc.)

Hi guys, I have got one full time job for 14LPA from 10.5LPA in Coforge for BA role. I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!

How’s work life balance in forensics?

For the CFE, did you do anything in addition to the ACFE prep course? The course is just practice questions, so I’m wondering where I can actually learn the information first before that.
