Are tattoos still a big deal in today’s work force?

Client team and our designers got into a shouting match today during final review of the deliverable (client started it). Is it too much to ask that people be professional at the office- ugh.

I was put on PIP after someone from my firm complained I missed some meetings. In those missed meetings I had informed my client and the said resource was junior so it was a pretty harsh punishment imo. Missed out on promo.

How do you handle it when a direct report reacts negatively during a performance review?

Just discovering RSD after being diagnosed as an adult. I feel like SO MUCH of my life has been impacted by this and I just never had a name for it. At work if someone gives me negative or constructive feedback it can feel like a punch in the chest even if I know it's not personal. Makes romantic relationships so hard too. I’m looking to pivot from Finance to Proj Mgmt and currently working through the Google course in order to sit for the CAPM. My only PM experience comes from stepping in on accounts I manage, where there is no PM presence. That means, most of those tasks were related to the budget and scoping, not necessarily execution. Is this enough to land a PM role?

Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. Later I found out she had tried for the exec assistant role and they didn’t choose her, they wanted me instead.
