Not to sound like an ass but I don’t think the big holding company worries about being considered... it’s your career/needs you should be looking out for, it’s okay to ask again regardless of what’s happening with others.
If you haven’t had any kind of response after a week I would follow up, they can at least say, “not at this time” or “we will be following up soon” but no response calls for a check in.
Now if you get a vague “we’ll be following up soon” with no plan then I’m not sure when to check in again. After 2-3 weeks? Maybe once per month.
