Hello, does anyone work as an auto underwriter for insurance? I recently got accepted for an internal job position and was offered $50k. I’m currently a claim processor making $20/hour so the offer is more than what i’m making but is low in comparison to the average salary for an auto underwriter in AZ (which is around $58k). I believe because the company knows how much i’m making they lowballed me. Any tips on how to navigate the salary negotiation and can u share ur salary ?

I am an SAP SD consultant with 5 years 3 months experience, working in IBM. My current CTC is 12.6 LPA fixed with variable. I received an offer of 25 LPA fixed+variable from Genpact. 3 lakhs joining bonus. Only issue is that it has been only 8 months with IBM and I need to return 1.5 lpa back to IBM. Any Spec Ed teachers feel like every time you try to get your program running you can’t? I am not in a self-contained class but more of a student drop in resource room where I work in small groups with life skills students who come to me for instruction & then take independent tasks back to class to complete. I have a lot of room to add students to my schedule- but my boss seems to think I shouldn’t be taking on more students but it’s my job to help those struggling students. I’m at a loss.
