Bain & Company Atlanta people! I’m in the process of applying for MBA programs and wanted to ask what recruiting is like for MBB from Emorys program? Is there a reasonable shot at getting into the Atlanta office from Emory, or are those openings primarily filled by other schools (Duke, UVA, etc.)

You may be demoted to senior associate, which is not too bad tbh. One year and you are at post mba level
What is the deal with senior associate? I thought everyone goes Associate for 2 years to Consultant
We have that middle role too, which is not very common and used mostly for people like you with significant experience but no mba or PhD
What office?
Boston!
Also, will it help at all that I previously interviewed in a different office and made it to the final round? (I assume they already know based on my profile)
It probably helped in you getting the phone interview, but from now you are on your own
OP, would you want to case prep together? I also got a phone screen request for Boston!
I had 2.5 years consulting experience at Big4 and was at post-MBA role but with no MBA. Lateraled into BCG as a Senior Associate. Happy to chat if helpful - feel free to DM. There’s a chance you could negotiate to come in at C, but would expect them to offer SA.
Is C above SA? And PL is above C?
Also - not necessarily worse to come in at Sr A vs a C! Lower earnings for a year sure, but you have a longer runway to ramp up and get used to things with lower expectations than full-fledged C, and when you make it to C will likely be more sought after
