Maybe try to get to know why you aren't able to sleep. If you aren't facing any emotional issues it could just be your exercise routine or diet (caffeine).
If it's none of those things then you could actually start doing something in those hours. Everyone's body works differently.
Waking up late hours has repercussions for most people. Puffy eyes and face, slow metabolism are the most common ones. If you aren't getting any of those side effects - your body might be okay with this.
Alright interesting. I do sometimes wake up with a puffy face and wasn’t sure if that was due to a later wake up (around 7:30 these days vs 6 pre-pandemic) and if waking up earlier would resolve. I also wake up middle of the night often. Have been training myself to go back to sleep using headspace 10 min sleep meditation though.

There are many possible causes. Stress, anxiety, diet, exercise, noise, light, inconsistent sleep / wake times…. but sleep is important so you should examine your life and routines and figure out what could be going wrong.
One less commonly mentioned one is low blood sugar. If you’re waking up hungry might be worth looking into.
