We are. However my CM and Principal have been entirely unwilling to consider putting me up for relocation - preferring to keep me in my current office. My current office has no prospects for someone with little experience like me

I'm not sure I understand. Which firm?

What company?

BAH

Well, 1.5 months wasn't likely much of a resume builder but at least it is ready to go. Relo could work depending on your experience. In DC area?

It seems more like a negative than a positive to even put on my resume at this point, honestly.

And no I am not in DC area or even a major city area but I have been open to relocating anywhere in the country. I'm a recent grad with very little experience

I wanted to post this for those who see and those who need to see: I, along with you, feel dejected by my current position. But I went to an absolutely no name school and could not find a job out of college for 5-6 months. Randomly got an interview request from PwC for a position I never applied for through LinkedIn. All this to say, everyones path is different and yours will work out how it should. Everything happens for a reason, assuming you always put your best foot forward. May we succeed.

Genuine question: What are the most common exit options at Google BizOps? (1) For internal transfer to PM, those teams seem to prefer to hire Google engineers. (2) For internal transfer to Chief of Staff, why those teams don’t promote their own Strategy & Op folks? (3) For BizOps internal promotion, there are not many Director positions. (4) For leaving Google, I don’t know where people usually go… Please share your thoughts / correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks!

I’ve seen a lot of post on FB about BCG Platinion that lean to the negative side. I am being approached by a recruiter for a position in Europe. Anyone willing to provide more detail on their experience? Maybe willing to chat? I’m also curious if I should be pushing for principal. They mention PL, but that seems like a step down. Thanks, fam! Hey Mates I'm working in pretty good fintech firm. I'm in my 30s with 2 kids and they are calling everyone to office by January I want remote job and would never want to live in any city again. Wondering which route to opt? 1. Start investing in open source and build a profile, find freelance jobs on upwork/Fiverr Or 2. Start giving interviews in remote jobs. FYI I'm terrible at interviews and spoken communications. Please provide your inputs. I want to work remote with good pay.

Got an offer from a big firm. I’m currently working at a small firm. The pay increase would be about 20% not including bonus. My concern with big law is obviously the stress level and billable hours but the small firm life concerns me long term because there’s only currently 6 lawyers and we just lost an office.
