Here’s an animated chart that shows how COVID-19 cases and deaths have grown globally compared to their causes of death like fire, influenza, and malaria over the same time frame. The timeline begins on January 1, 2020, and COVID-19 starts at the very bottom of the chart with zero deaths.

What are your goals? Travel? Cash back?
If you’re based in Canada, for travel I’d recommend the Aeroplan Visa Infinite from TD or CIBC. TD is churnable so you can get the welcome bonus over and over again.
AMEX Cobalt is a good generalist card, with flexible transfer partners to Bonvoy or Aeroplan, depending if you need hotels or flights. Best part is the 5x multiplier on food/drink and groceries. If you treat Aeroplan at 2.1cents per point you can get over 10% back with the 5x.
AMEX Marriott Bonvoy pays for itself + more, and to me it’s another no brainer keeper card. The annual free night award can easily get you 2x the value of the annual fee, plus the sign up bonus right now is strong.
If you’re going for cash back, again the TD Cash Back Visa Infinite is churnable, meaning you’ll be eligible for the bonus 10% cash back again and again if your product switch the card. Personally I do this between the various TD cards for repeat bonuses.
If you don’t want to bank with TD, Tangerine has a solid cash back product as well.
For MasterCard.. HSBC has one with no foreign exchange fee, if you need that.
Please don’t listen to C1, if you truly wish to get value out of credit cards, a no fee cash back visa will very rarely be your best choice.
DM if you have any questions! A great resource for Canadian credit cards is the /r/churningcanada subreddit.
M1 - could you please elaborate on TD credit card bring churn-able? Currently have one Aeroplan visa infinite, do I just cancel it and apply again? Do I have to wait for certain time? Thank you!!
Any no-fee cash back visa. (I’m from Deloitte btw)
Amen 🙏
