SoFi Stadium in LA, opening in 2020 (MSP-LAX)

Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.
It is TOO HOT in San Francisco today 🥵🥵

San Diego if you plan on starting a family soon. LA if you want more job opportunities and spend half your day in traffic.
Different vibes dude (gender neutral) just gotta try it out and see which one floats your boat
Don’t come to San Diego. Too crowded. LA for sure 🙂
Rising Star
Born and raised in the best part of LA. Also worked there while living in Santa Monica. Lived and worked in the Northeast for a few years too. Now I live in SD. SD all day between LA and SD.
San Diego if you have a family and can live in La Jolla (or similar area) and want a more relaxed time/slightly slower lifestyle. Better beaches too
Manhattan beach if you want the same but want better access to la itself. LA does have more to do across the board than San Diego, but you can still do plenty in sd
If those two are options Santa Monica shouldn’t be on the list unless you’re counting the palisades or Brentwood as Santa Monica (which they’re not)
It depends
San Diego, LA too much hustle and bustle. Santa Monica also has way more homeless than you would expect.
Haha very true it was a little strange to see people straight up sleeping in trees when I was younger
SD
Lol both are amazing but i think SD wins out
