I got a call from HR and offer discussion was over couple of weeks back and still waiting for them to send me final mail to release offer. May I know if they take this much time to release offer, when I did a follow up call after 10 days they said they are waiting for some approval to release offer.

If I had a crystal ball, I wouldn't be in PA
@OP: if you couldn't bang this out in Excel in less time than it took to entertain this conversation, prospects for early promo are none too impressive.
Probably will take 20 minutes in excel to run a model. Venmo me $40 and I'll do it for you if you wanna save the time 😁
I understand. If I were you, I would budget very conservatively, meaning, assume youll get minimal raises. You'll make more responsible financial decisions in that way And any raise above what you expected is gravy and you can add to savings (or debt payoff, or whatever your priorities are)
Starting point of $58K, ending point of $110k - $120k. Fill in the blanks in between.
You just started three months ago and you're assuming you're gonna get early promoted?
$110-$120 is best case scenario and I wouldn't budget for that. Not saying it can't or won't happen though
Coming in with CPA doesn't matter. You don't get extra points for meeting job requirements. CPA is required to advance in the career. Everyone has one, it's not a unique talent that you get extra pay for. What is your starting salary? All raises will be % based on your starting, so you need the starting point to project out.
^do the math yourself. Promo years use a raise of 12% - 15%. Non-promo years use 6% - 8%.
This is why I love fishbowl, I get honest responses for the most part in a timely manner - thank you
Yeah just make a model in excel. 58k starting with yearly increases based on rating 2-4% for lowest rating, increasing by 2% each one and have a promo of 12-15% and there you go. You can see all the options.
58k starting
No just assuming best case scenario, I'm a pre-planner. I have loans, and I want to start a Roth IRA and think about housing options. Just trying to get an idea of what my income will be because that will reflect my actions
Assuming top rating every year you're probably in the $110k - $120k range after 6 years, assuming manager promotion.
I was looking for a response that would give me literally year to year salaries up to 1st year manager
Well good luck finding exact salary figures. As someone said, if someone had a crystal ball they wouldn't be in accounting 👍🏼
Time wasn't a factor which is why I outsourced my work to people like you, thanks for the advice tho buddy
Outsourced basic tasks that would have taken you 5 minutes? You're well on your way to early promotion ...
