SM1, compensation is not a handout, stop sounding like a douchey partner you aren’t there
No
Nope that is not how it works .. I came in as a non-campus hire with an MBA and was slotted into the MBA cohort. Pretty simple , ignore the other dumb asses here OP
Cause he’s not a “MBA hire”, he’s an experienced hire... he’ll be comped at non-MBA and he has to be ok with that or not join.
Keep sounding like the douchey partner please
Why not - that seams unfair? Everyone I’ve talked to seems in my office seems to think MBA hires should be comped at MBA pay.
Read his post again. It’s the same as you read all the time. I’ll be the douchey SM this time. I don’t care what your education is if you are useless in your role. That’s what matters.
PwC 3 thank you for clarifying with fact. Not looking for opinions in this thread. Trying to understand how the situation is truly handled.
Except Pwc only pays mba cohort to target schools. If you have a shit mba why do they deserve the 30k hump?
Who cares? Once she shows his/her provess they will be comped like the rest of us. Walk the damn walk like we all did. No handouts
P4 you are not very far off ... its not necessarily linked to target schools but if you are in the top 20-25 you are ok (again I have no data to support) just what I have seen. Foreign MBAs on the other hand are not comped at the same level unless its from LBS, Insead etc
