Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?

I started working in tech sales from there and it’s a total 180. Life is way more steady
Yeah I do have a degree so that did help but they were more interested in my previous sales experience
I was asked to leave. Couldn’t sell a car to save my soul. At the time I thought this meant I would never be in sales. Turns out it was the best thing for me. I went into electronic sales and did very well. Then went into CPG sales and have been there for over 30 years. There can be a good life after car sales. Oh and no weekend or late night work. That’s a big plus.
So there are two ways to go about this. The first is longer and it’s for people who do not have a college degree. You will have to work in home sales and out the hours in until you reach management. However if you have a college degree you are able to get into CPG. There can be very good money in CPG and the hours are typically very nice for work to life balance.
Left car sales a few years ago. It was actually not bad. I was performing really well and getting paid really good. I just feel like I can't stay with the industry for a long time so I left.
Left and went into jewelry sales and I love it steady income with great hours I get to spend time with my family. I get my weekends back and I don’t have to stress about the market. Another great thing is that I went from selling something people don’t want to selling things to people who don’t need 😂these people WANT jewelry
If you don’t mind me asking, what scale of jewelry are you selling and what’s the average pay structure for somebody starting out ?never thought of that before!
I manage a team of salespeople and, think prior car salespeople are great in my industry. Selling new homes.
