Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? What I would be doing is more PPT/functional vs Onestream/technical which I do now.

FXAIX!
Depends. It doesn’t make sense to diversify across index funds that cover similar/same stocks - that’s just spreading yourself out unnecessarily. If you want to increase exposure to other fund types like bonds or specific sectors, you can. But for a beginning/long-term/hands-off investor, a low cost S&P 500 index fund is a great bet, even all in.
I have my 401k through Fidelity. I’m currently do 50% FXAIX, 17% PRJIX, 17% FBJKX, and 16% growth index fund for EY. MY HSA is 100% FXAIX. I love it’s very low expense ratio.
May I ask how old you are and how many years away from retirement/using those funds would be? That’ll be this biggest indication of if you should put it all in stocks vs. mixing in some bonds. I’m 26 and don’t plan to retire within the next 35 years, so I’m okay risking it all in stocks.
If you are comfortable putting it all in FXAIX, then do it. If it’ll cause you to stay up at night, then spread it out amongst different funds.
