Client involved in MVA, can’t drive for Uber or Lyft for 2.5-3 weeks, vehicle owned by Client, so rental only given in his name, 3P suggesting Client cant claim LWs because his wife should’ve illegally taken the rental to work and/or he shouldve driven her to work and then used her car to work for those 2.5-3 weeks, thoughts? He couldn't have used the rental either and his account was suspended under his vehicle. Also, Client purchased new vehicle sooner to RTW sooner as parts were backordered.

I am finishing up my second year of practice as a lawyer. I transitioned to plaintiffs pi work from a boutique commercial litigation firm. I like the work and not having to bill. The issue I am having is managing volume. I have about 150 active files some pre-lit and the rest are in litigation. Cases range in value from very small to low six figures. I also take the driver seat for the grunt work on the firms bigger cases which are at or near 7 figure value. I constantly feel (cont.)

Got pulled from litigating MVAs to help this solo we hired start a med Mal/nursing home practice. 1 year in and it looks like I’m two steps backwards in terms of getting paid because we’re a year or more out from a lot of the fees hitting.
