Hello, I am working in HCL Technologiesas L1 resource my CWL is nagpur but I want to change my working location . It was changed a few months back but they have referred back to nagpur again saying because of some policies so I asked for a project change thought it may be useful for location change, it's been 23 months in my current project I asked for release but my sdm is not willing to release. I cannot travel back to Nagpur vijaywada is my nearest location. Please suggest how I can proceed.

If you can share your years of experience and tech stack it would be helpful
Regarding whether to join or not I would put forward few points u can take decision urself
1) Currently org has hire and fire situation
2) Org growth is not organic , they just go and aquire smaller companies in q3/q4
3)Due to above aquisition they tell org has not reached target and deny appraisals and variable pay.
4) Past 3 years there has been null to minimal appraisals..( mostly managerial position have got 💲)
5) Once u are deployed on client side , you are on your own they don't care as long as ur billing
6) Once your client project ends and ur back on bench, your notice period starts as per new policy, u will have 60 days to secure new project else u would be layed off.
7)Here what PPL have observed projects are of shorter durations 7/9 months so u are always on ur toes and fear if no project then lay off
8)Also for band 5 and above it's compulsory work from office atleast on papers it says.
9)The only good point is they pay you over and above market

60 lpa is on the higher side for Band 5.2. Job security would be less. They are most probably hiring you for a critical requirement where the client is willing to pay good money but what will happen once that project ends? It might be difficult to get a similar project again.
Also, please assume that they will not give a hike and your CTC will remain constant for the next few years.
Coforge is not a good compay, if you have no other choice then go for coforge

Once your project ends, your doom day starts. If someone is offering you 60 LPA, then you are intelligent enough to understand that in India, this is salary even CEO of small company is not getting.
So, for the client who is stuck with something which is very important for him, he is ready to pay very high amount for which you are hired, once that is done, you are gone.
No client will be there to give that much billing to the company, and your game is over then and there.
This is exactly like in normal city you will hardly pay 100 INR for 3 KM cab ride, but if you are in Hills like Nanital, or Manali, you pay 1200 for 1 or 2 KM taxi ride(but that happens only once in a life).
So, if you join some company with that package, then from day 1 you are at risk.
It may possible for 1 month you are getting 4.5 lacs in account, but next month it could be potentially zero.
So, take your decision very wisely, earning 2 lacs per month continuously with security is much wiser than earning 4.5 lacs per month with fear of losing it any fine day.

You can join coforge. No major red flags. As long as you have a project, you don't need to worry much about job security.
Mainly based in london. Project manager and few other leads sit there. Rest of the team working from india locations like noida, gurugram, mumbai, pune, hyderabad.
I m just planning to stay for 1.5 -2 year and jump . Is it ok to stay in coforge with this CTC? Or there would be any issues

Every lateral new joiner is put on the bench just after onboarding day...in rare scenarios they will be directly allocated to the project. So, the first scenario has a 99.9999% chance and for the second you can calculate.
