Completed onsite interview with Facebook for a non-tech role and haven’t heard from the recruiter for 2 weeks. Should I take it as a rejection 🥲?

I feel like for the first time in a long time, I just bombed my first interview.

I start my journey of being more technical today. I am giving myself 2 yrs. I started a role doing IT controls, Identity and Access Management work. I have prior experience in UAT, business process controls (A-123). I am planning on passing the Security plus and CISSP certs within 2 yrs. Have a TS clearance. Any advice or reality check is welcome.
I will like to do cyber work in the Intelligence Community.

Interviewing for Cyber Sec role. At very beginning they ask salary exp. I said usual way to postpone that question, and to figure out their range for role. On final interview and I mentioned 85-95k and they said it’s on the lower end for role…. Did I lowball myself?

Just graduated w a FT offer at a T2 (S&O, OW, LEK). However, full time start date has been pushed to next year. Is there any way to recruit for MBB in the next coming months? (Realise that hiring is low because of COVID)

Had two final rounds w MBB during UG recruiting and if I have to wait several months to start FT. Iwould rather start a career w MBB if at all possible.

Even without LinkedIn, I see a lot of people younger than me in much better roles. They started off with relevant jobs right out of college. I graduated in 2009 when the economy tanked and worked in retail for years before I was finally able to land in corporate. Does anybody else struggle with this as well? Been with Big Four advisory (GRC) for 10 years. Really tired of meaningless “consulting” and commoditized implementations. Recently been through a rough job search and finally landed an offer with a mid size bank in their risk practice. People say that the culture there is quite political and bitter but I’ll learn a heck lot and get a new opening on my resume. Salary is the same. The other option is to take a consulting job that pays me 50k more but do the same work! Thoughts? Thanks!
