Completely my first full year as an associate at ogletree, and on track to hit 2200 hours. Can someone clarify the bonus structure for me please. is it 10K plus 25% of your salary for hitting 2200 hours?

Yes, 10 K when you hit 1900, that may or may not be paid out before the end of the year depending on what the firm wants to do. Plus, 25% of your base salary paid out in March.

like

And note that pro bono, training, DEI, etc. hours don't count towards your billables for this bonus.

You don’t have a bonus policy you can look at?

like

Why did you bill that much? Is it financially worth it?

like

It’s definitely worth it. Plus because it pays out in April you get a raise in August when you max out social security.

Hi all, I have about 7 years of professional experience but only one year as a Customer Success Manager. I work on mid market accounts currently. I love my job, but would prefer to support a more robust platform that will allow me to add more value for my customers.

I’d appreciate your thoughts on what compensation you might expect for a CSM transitioning to a new company with one year of experience.

To clarify, I don’t have an offer yet, I’m just looking to make a move.

Thank you!

Check the overtime laws for your state!!

I just recently worked 58.6 hours in a week, weekly pay, nice OT profit right? Depends on where you live.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

Thank you all!
