Cost effective and quickest way to get from IAD to DC and back for personal travel? Uber, public transportation(it doesn't look like metro goes that far), etc.

5A bus is 5 bucks each way and leaves from Rosslyn or le'fant plaza

like

5A bus for sure. More convenient, cheaper, and often faster than the metro. Easy to metro or uber to where you need to be once you get to Rosslyn or L'Enfant.

like

5A bus to Rosslyn and then metro to DCA

Uber is $45ish. There is a metro bus and the Washington flyer bus that goes there. They are less than $10. There's the super shuttle or whatever it's called for $30.

Your correct metro doesn't go that far but you can uber to the reston-whiele metro station and then metro the rest of the way

Rent a car for the day and drive. Will cost you well under $100 round trip.

^shit plan. What is OP going to do with the car once they get toDC? I'll tell you, pay for parking. Grab an uber to Reston, take the metro into the city. Less the $7 bucks one way on metro

That shit plan arrow was for strategist 1 (whatever that is)

Thanks for all the feedback 🐟 ! I'll be there for more than a day so rental car won't work, but definitely some good options

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

So that amount will be deducted in monthly basis." Why sudden income tax deduction? Why was that not deducted in the month of Jan Feb March ? How can i recover that 10k every month?
