None because it goes nowhere and HR doesn't care lol
First agency job, I was 24, worked there for about 1.5 years. Mentioned I was leaving cause the VP was so toxic / harassing etc. First time they heard about it. They started investigating, she was fired 6 months later and they discovered she committed fraud for ~500k over the years.

I am always brutally honest, but I don’t say anything negative about anyone I’m going to use as a reference in the future (like a boss that I had a good relationship with). But the agency in general or especially toxic people? I drag them all the way down. I’m not convinced that nothing happens with the exit interview info - If enough people quit because one person is a horrible teammate or manager, that will eventually reflect poorly on that person. I’ve seen that happen multiple times!

I was leaving a job and HR threw my manager under the bus for some things and said that she was taking major heat for my leaving.
I’ve worked been around in the industry 15+ years - literally the only time I’ve seen HR care [still powerless, but showed enough empathy to acknowledge I had been screwed]

But of course, HR didn’t do anything about it b/c they exist to protect leadership and the company. Never regular employees.
My exit interview was honest. HR did a HR job; recorded it, documented it, and filed it away. Unfortunately, for them my exit interview is what resulted in a settled out of court agreement for another employee. Shame had they took action on the exit interview, it wouldn't have been why they lost a ton of money.

I mentioned that most people on my floor are gossipy, and I’ve seen some people being racist towards someone - and how that traumatized me as a junior employee. I didn't drop any names, and I didn't know if they acted on it. But.. I do feel something happened because one of the main characters in that racist story I mentioned left the agency after a couple of months and viewed me on LinkedIn out of nowhere. I can’t say I regret it, but I think I burned some bridges by doing it :)
That’s why I don’t regret it. I do feel a lot of people got upset with me - but it’s okay.
I was severely micromanaged and it crippled my ability to do my job, or to improve. The manager dismissed my constructive criticism during the exit interview. Now I have much more freedom where I’m at, and I’m thriving!

Specifically called out the head of my dept in terms of how ‘I love working at [agency] but hate working for [CSO]’ which was cathartic and apparently not the first time it’d been mentioned…
