20 days and 1-2 floating holidays. They increase it to 25 but not until you hit 10 Years there

OP: Crowe is not a good place to work for especially dallas and ny office.

4 weeks (160 hours) + 1 floating holiday. Carryover up to 40 hours. It increases at some point but personally haven't gotten that far

Think we got 2 floating holidays this year

As they said. In most offices you have the ability to take most or all of your PTO (with adequate planning). Also, we have the flexibility of working from home pretty much whenever (client obligations come first). So we've had employees travel more than their PTO and using mobility to do their work. Is not easy, but it's an option. It depends on service line as well.

any paternity leave for new Dads?

OP - a relatively new parental leave policy (April 2016) allows for 6 weeks of 100% paid leave for the new Dad. It can be taken 2 weeks at a time or all at once.

I like it, but I can tell some offices have problems. Like any firm.

The Northern California offices are pretty relaxed compared to the other states it seems like.

I agree. Look into the specific office.

@AS1, why are NY and Dallas bad offices?

* all of CA, CH2

For NY most staff are overworked and turnover is high. Many partners are complete dicks too

Are there any NY offices that arent like that?

Thats how I imagine it is just living in NY in general

It really depends on the groups more than anything for every firm. I’ve worked in firms that atmosphere was more mellow and even my group here is fine. But others it’s just gell

^AS1, what's wrong with the Dallas office?

I want to ask for a 20%raise, knowing that the company is planning the year budget around now should I give my manager a heads up as to what I’m expecting before my salary review? The raise this year came with the title of “Lead” and more work responsibilities, talking with a co-worker we now make about the same amount. I started working here right out of college (10 years).

Hi all,
I’m currently working for a small technical consulting start-up firm. I make good money, have great benefits, and they seem very happy with the work I’m doing, so I know I could move up quickly. However, tech consulting is definitely not my dream job. I want to get into data analytics, and I have an offer from a big company to do just that. I’ve only been at my current company for about 8 months, but I don’t ever see myself loving this job. How do I know when it’s time to make a change?

Let's say I can't get a product or marketing job in tech, but I could get in via sales or customer success. Does working in those roles pigeonhole you, or is it easy to switch later?
