I'm using data jpa to connect to oracle DB in our API.

We have one scenario when the DB is down, then also normal flow should work.

Although it is working fine, but when we are checking the logs it's taking more than 1 second just to identify that the DB is locked, this is not within our SLA.

In the normal case it's processing within 200 ms.

We're using Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle 19c

Please provide some valuable suggestions from our side

They offer two options: the “traditional” course (which lasts around 2.5 months) and an extended 6-month course. I’m a first year associate (almost second year). I work at a national firm and I’m not a litigator. When I started with the firm, I was told I could work out of any office. Long story short, I regret choosing the office that I chose. I’d like to transfer to another office - is that a difficult ask? I’m licensed in the state I’d like to transfer to. I don’t know how to make this request.

Does anyone know if this is normal? I joined a vault 100 firm in September last year. The firm put me on tier 7. In January I had the associate review and everything was normal. After a couple of weeks, I got the call from the hiring partner telling my bonus and new salary (because of the firm-wide salary increase). I realized I still get paid as a 7 year associate. The partner said because I joined the firm later in the year, it’s normal not to advance in the next year. Is it? Thanks!
