Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte

I run all my expenses through my credit card (except for a few bills that pull directly from a bank account). Every dollar spent is mapped ahead of time in my budget (I use YNAB). I pay off the full balance on my card weekly, and the reap all the cash back rewards for buying the things I was going to buy anyway.
I use a travel rewards card for almost everything and pay off in full each month.
I pay for almost everything on my card to get the cash back. I probably get $40 free every month from the cash back perks. I also like the added purchase protection.
I pay it off often throughout the month and rarely carry a balance past 30 days. At one point in grad school when money was tight and I had to put a lot on the card I was paying $200 in interest a month and thought to myself NEVER AGAIN lol. At that time, I’d call every 6 months and negotiate the rate lower, but since I pay it off now the rate doesn’t matter as much.
Everything is run through my credit cards, and I pay them off the day they are due. Never ever accumulated a penny of credit card interest
Same as M1. Everything is run through my AMEX except for a few utilities and car note. It's budgeted and paid off each month. If there's an expense I don't feel like covering with cash I use a variety of other cards that I can get 0% on for several months. Anything else that's running on unsecured financing is 0% and the car note is 1.9%.
Using credit isn't the end of the world. Managing your cost, i.e., interest rates, is key.
I run all monthly expenses through my Amex and pay off the statement balance very month.

Didn’t know how to manage my money at one point in my life and I had racked in 22k in bc debt.
We buy everything with our credit cards and pay off the balance every week. It’s been great for the airline points!
