I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

No advice, I grew up in rural Texas and moved to Dallas for law school, now biglaw here. But don't forget the subjective things when you're deciding on a big move. Obviously no state income tax, etc. are considerations, but our summers are awful and last for almost three seasons. Winter's not bad unless our grid fails, in which case, see February 2021. Lots of right-wing voices, which will be mostly balanced in a big city but you're still in a super red state. Little to no decent public transportation. Rentals are exorbitant, but so is buying a house.
I feel like I'm making it sound terrible here and it's not. We have great restaurants, museums, concerts and sports. Cool parks and trails and lakes. Lots of cool, livable neighborhoods. Great luxury shopping. Good airports with lots of direct flights. The no state income tax thing is big when you're talking biglaw salary. I love it here, weather notwithstanding, and I'll probably live here until I retire.
PS feel free to DM me. I have closings today and Monday but am happy to chat.
Grew up in CA and moved to Texas for big law.. Not sure if that counts
Nothing to add as I’m finishing up my first year at a v50 in NYC, and maybe looking to head back to TX (grew up there) in my third year. Are you a first year? Any reason why you are looking to leave now?
Lateraled from NYC to Austin as a mid-level. Happy to chat.
