My visa got submitted couple of days back and waiting for decision. When I reached out to recruiter to give her an update and mentioned once there’s decision will discuss on the start date before putting my 2 weeks, she mentioned “Yes, we should talk before you put notice” - Am I overthinking? Comp depends on what types of roles and what cities you’re targeting. Staying in consulting? Move to industry? What industry? Any color on that?
In Toronto. Flexible whether consulting or move to industry. In either cases, I want to stay in financial services and go on a higher pay band (95k+). If industry, I also want to make at least manager. Areas: strategy/operations/analytics. Willing to slightly trade off compensation for interesting work/ growing field and to pick up any technical skills needed
