At Amazon, what is the difference between a Program Manager and Technical Program Manager? It looks like the Technical one gets paid about 25% more but not sure what roles/responsibilities they do differently. Amazon

Honestly I wouldn't bother. Think about the time wasted on commute that is valuable way beyond the 10K increase. For a lateral move to make sense, IMHO, it should be at least a 30-35% pay increase, but thats just me.
I agree with the comment above, I probably value my ability to work remotely way more than 10k, so it'd be a pretty tough sell to get me to give that away just for a salary bump of that size. You seem to be in a pretty good trajectory at your current job so I have no doubts you will likely get an even juicier offer down the line if you hold out. Sometimes it's better to pass up on a "meh" opportunity so you can say "f*ck yes" to another one when it comes along. How do you feel about future growth at your current company?
Also worth mentioning this role would be hybrid 3 days in office vs. remote
I think it sounds like a great resume builder - and that bonus being something you can rely on to. Don’t worry about the title - and you can always get personnel responsibility back. Just enjoy time off from the emotional burden.
And I’m that rare person who misses hybrid work - the interactions with people, the separation of church and state, the ability to decompress during the commute.
Hell no. Negotiate a higher level and a bump in salary if you’re going to make that move. Know your worth!
