Dear US recruiters: what is your take/advice for someone (Canadian) who is looking for a job that would qualify under TN status? Are the treated the same as if they required an H1B in your eyes? Do they have a shot at your company and what kind of co is it?

My understanding is that since the new hire can obtain the status/visa when crossing the border, there is no application processing time, and is not costly (and much less hassle than an H1B) then it should be a lot easier.

Guys, I interviewed at amex gurgaon 10days ago and was told by VP that I will hear from HR very soon. But when I checked on HR yesterday, she said interviews are still in progress and it will take a week more to finalize.

I’m in the middle of moving by myself. I’m job hunting, because I lost my last one. My relationship has basically imploded.
