Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

I think you’d be lucky to get above 92.5k (8% raise). Primarily because 1) you are GPS and 2) Deloitte seems to like barely keeping 2 YOE salary above incoming new hires. I don’t want to say you are average, but your scatterplots seem about on par where Deloitte starts to get competitive while not quite being an “exceptional” practitioner.
Also where are you hearing 90k? Is this commercial S&O? I know several people in recruitment and the offers were 72.5k but unsure on signing. For what it’s worth, I went from 82.5k -> 93k after getting no raise in 2020 for my analyst to C promotion. 12% sounds good but that was for 2 years and a promo..
Ask for 250k

Damn, 10 years ago I graduated college and was stoked to be getting $32k a year. Kids these days 😂
Inflation, disproportionate increase in housing prices around Deloitte offices, extremely disproportionate increase in the cost of the education required to get the job 😴
If you don’t get $ you want after promotion, remember it’s OK to job hunt for the $. My biggest mistake I decided after 15 years is not hopping more. It’s hot market now so always worth a shot
The 90k was from a campus hire into GPS I believe. And thank you for the feedback. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the upper end, but now I have a realistic perspective on it.

It depends on degree and OP, so it's not universal 90k across the board.
Also, I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that everyone is feeling underpaid though. I think expecting about 8-12% for raise with promo to C is reasonable!
As a EH into GPS with 7 YOE and a masters I came in as a C at 90k, after negotiating up from the initial offer of 78k. So I would imagine you are near if not at the top of the A pay band.
For promotion there is a flat rate raise, plus merit, so you could potentially see 95k, but feel like tff go are the max and would need a promo to hit
Wow you got fucked D2. Assuming none of your 7 yoe before joining was in consulting?
OP, best of luck! My scatterplots are generally the same as yours so just a different perspective. My promo year wasn’t exactly during a “normal” time so I hope it works out for you
Im an analyst in gps and am expecting over 95 base, OP. In the november comp adjustment, all my consultant friends went up from mid/low 80s to 95-98s.
I’m an a2 in GPS at 89
Not much to add, but crazy to read all this. I was in a 2018 GPS analyst start class and our starting salaries were under 70 across the board, almost no exceptions. I left in 2020 as a 5-5 C still making under 80, which was a big contributor to why I left. Glad to hear they’re starting to give more competitive salaries!
Why did you enter into GPS the first place?
It’s what Deloitte hires for from my campus. As well as WLB (for me at least) it’s very good. As well as the starting compensation at the time was very competitive.
When do Deloitte comp calls happen?
You’ll get the actual comp numbers in late May 2-3 weeks before the pay cycle they take affect
