Increasingly difficult to hold on to both....

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

At Special K, SM is audit/tax and Director is advisory.
If you are in advisory it happens all the time at KPMG. They hire outside and then there are less spots for internal promotion.
Isn’t EY director an internal facing role? EY has SM—> PPMD
Directors are in our core business group, meaning finance, IT. They are not client facers
Haven‘t seen any previous SM joining EY as a Director (or Associate Partner in client facing roles). Would assume chances are low as of this level, they usually require bringing already experience on this level (on junior levels it might be a bit easier as the potential damage of a wrong-level hire is lower)
Think you mean a managing director role at EY if client facing. I’d say highly doubtful unless you are a total star in a hot area, in which case Deloitte would likely have you deep in the process or at least well locked up. May have seen one in last 5 years.
No, I didn’t mean client facing or MD role.
Director comes between SM and PPAP in EMEIA
