What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

Are we going to do the same for those who refuse to exercise and eat heathy? Americans statistically are still more likely to die young from lifestyle diseases, not covid. Medical treatment and medication for diabetes and heart disease aren’t exactly cheap.
You would be right but the bucket is the employer plan. Employer plans don't have seperate groups

Luv it! They should double that after 6 months lol
Read your policy. Only in certain situations
This has happened in the past and can you imagine what for? Cigarettes. This isn’t some new idea.
But your health premiums did not.

Consequences! Who would’ve guessed?
How does a unvaccinated persons medical premiums impact a vaccinated person?
Easy win lawsuit. They’ll also need to raise premiums for people with HIV, whom had had measles, missing rubeola shot, etc. This is just virtue signaling and peer pressure. If people haven’t gotten their vaccine by now, it ain’t gonna happen.
I love people claiming legal knowledge that probably can't spell tort.
They're a heightened risk to cover so I don't see a problem with this. Now I mostly support M4A having a lot of family abroad and seeing how good of a system it is, but if you're going to have a healthcare system like the US to keep it properly functioning actions like this are absolutely necessary.
D1, nice try making up facts. Everyone is counted.
Good everyone that is choosing not to get vaccinated, has to pay one way or another.
@PwC4 how you going to prove igot vaccinated?

Is it refunded when mostly all of them do not contract Covid, or if they do, have a completely mild case?

Capitalism at its finest! Don’t like it? Push for single payer.
@MD1 with both taxes and insurance payments made by the company. How do you know the money will flow to the employee
This is a little silly because not being vaccinated does not mean you will are guaranteed to get or spread covid. So they are charging you more because there is a higher risk (which is silly itself as we have seen vaccinated people get and spread the delta variant). Should insurance companies charge more to people who drive because there is a higher risk for a crash?
No, I'm used the specific words I chose for a reason and you seem to not like you can't substitute my words to fit what you want
Many asked if you should be charged more if you are overweight or don’t exercise. I wonder if perhaps you should. I realize this can be an insensitive idea as a lot of cases are based on genes or physical and mental health matters and you can’t differentiate. So wanted to see others thoughts.
I would say the vaccine is different. It is 100% a choice and you can chose to pay more or get the vaccine. If there’s a medical reason you can’t get a vaccine, that should be an exception and not the point here.
The same way you can either get the vaccine or not, people can choose to be healthy or not, if you’re not going to charge obese people, or people who do dangerous activities more, you shouldn’t charge anyone more. There’s a reason people are saying this whole thing is political.
First it is covid, next month it will be because you are fat.
Who were those 600k? Many were elderly not delta workers
Maybe they should do this for people who live risky lifestyles too. Or for people who are taking certain ssris. What about making sure everyone who is hiv positive display a warning about the risk their blood poses? Slippery slope. Not good.
I guess it makes sense with the line of business they are in. If a member of the crew tests positive and the other crew members are unvaccinated, they will have to quarantine for a certain amount of time. I would imagine if they are vaccinated, the quarantine time is shorter. This would have a direct impact on their ability to keep flights in the air. It seems like they're just trying to offset the costs of grounded flights.
It's happening indirectly at my workplace. My daughter has been exposed twice at school but is vaccinated and hasn't missed any school. My coworker's kid has been in the same situation, but her kid is unvaccinated. My coworker has to stay home with her daughter while she is quarantined.
People with full vaccination can still test and have full blown COVID. The vaccine doesn’t stop it. The CDC decided to stop counting breakthrough cases, but they’re happening everywhere.
Is this the same company that’s having people come into the office 2-3 days a week? Interesting. Doesn’t sound like they care about anyone’s health. It’s sounding political.
