I’m having an existential crisis.

Do you think modern life is possible without the use of some form of stimulants like alcohol, Xanax, Adderral, marijuana, etc?

Day to day life has become soul crushing for me in some ways and when I look around and wonder how everyone else is doing it it just looks like it’s mostly just substance abuse.

My wife and I are starting a first cycle of IVF. Given how expensive IVF is/can be, wondering if anyone has lessons learned on the insurance front—understanding it varies by plan, of course. How often and how do you exercise?

I run 4x4 intervals on a treadmill every 2-3 days, and pushups/hangups/crunches about the same, but somewhat more infrequently. Great exercises to do with little time. In winter I go XC skiing upstate at our cabin every two weekends or so.

Any tips ideas on how to beat feeling isolated during self isolation. I am single and live by myself. I do the usual of FaceTime calls with friends and fam daily, cook dinner, read blah

A few years ago I slipped a disk in my lower back. Some doctors said I needed surgery to fuse it. That didn't sound good so I looked up alternatives. Through listening to binaural beats, using a tuning fork set to 528hz, and yoga I am now able to move and function just fine.
