Dislike big law? or Dislike firm? or Dislike practice area? I'm not sure I can tell. I feel very apathetic about everything I do (corporate) since it's so meaningless to me, but I have no idea what I would do differently if I left a firm. Thoughts on this? I've considered lateraling but I don't know if I understand my underlying dissatisfaction. Plus, I make ridiculous money sitting in my home office while my cousin works in a coal mine...why am I complaining?

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

Random partner asked a litigation-related question to a partner I frequently work with (i’m a transactional associate). My partner cc’d me and said for me to briefly look. Asked the library. They got me a great case. Sent it back. Now the random partner is asking for more cases in another circuit.
