Shouldn’t you ask this on a 30s and 40s in a relationship with a bf bowl? Our restaurant eating habits may be different.
That detail aside, it’s your body. Feed it however you’d like. It’s not up to someone else to weigh in. You don’t need to come up with a doctor’s note to validate wanting a snack.
I explicitly avoid eating if I know I'm going to a restaurant and I'm not aware of nor heard of anyone having a snack before going out to eat. It sounds like your doctor is giving you dietary advice for your own needs, not something meant for the general public.
Pro
Snack or small meal immediately before leaving for a restaurant? No. It would ruin the experience.
If I know I’m going in a several hours and I feel hungry, yeah I’d had a small protein snack but nothing that would make me full or not want to enjoy my meal later.
If it were a restaurant I was really looking forward to I probably wouldn’t have a snack and would just wait so that I could really enjoy everything.
I just wait, unless I haven’t eaten all day and need something small to hold me over.
True
Snacking is a bad habit altogether.
Yes I can survive 30 minutes of hunger pangs.
