So I just recently passed my CPA exams and I’m now looking for new opportunities. I’m hoping to work at a big 4 firm in tax and possibly connect with anyone working there right now. Please reach out to me, I would look forward to connecting and learning more about potential opportunities. Thanks!EY PwC Deloitte KPMG

100% - moved here less than a year ago and have found it hard to build a solid circle. Met a few good folks here and there but don’t hang out consistently.
It took me awhile to make friends, but I ended up finding my people! I met a bunch of my friends through meetups and fishbowl actually!
It's definitely a lot more difficult as we get older and have more commitments and established routines. You have to be flexible and persistent. I have made friends through friends of friends, joining a climbing group, and joining the Junior League of SF (women's philanthropic social group). I haven't checked out any City Girls Who Walk yet but have been meaning to. I'm going to take a ceramics class this month which may lead to meeting some people. I find the easiest way to make friends is by doing something where you're going to see the same people repeatedly without having to put in the effort to make plans such as a class or recurring meet up type situation. It's also a good way to meet people who you have something in common with right off the bat. I have looked at Meetup groups in SF before and was underwhelmed by what I saw. I have made a few solid friends but would still like to make some more.
