Nope. I'll WFH if I'm under the weather. No point exposing anyone else to my germs when I can still work from my couch.
👏🏾👏🏾
Depends on how sick I am. If it's just a minor cold, I'll wear a mask and head on in. If it's something more serious I'll stay home.
Agreed!
Oh noooo! That's the WORST. If I'm that sick where I'm coughing all over everything, I for sure stay home. If I MUST go into the office, then I would absolutely wear a mask.
Please tell that to my coworker
If you have the option to WFH and you're not sick to the point you have to call in, then WFH. It's pointless to put yourself and others in an unpleasant situation.
Apparently this person has no awareness or consideration for other people
It's really rude when people go to work sick. A year ago, my coworker came in with a nagging cough all week long. He dragged himself in everyday and would not stay home. A few days later, he called to say he had covid and days later, we all had it. Please stay home when sick.
Oh wow that’s horrible! So sorry
Before COVID, I would go to work if I had a cold. Post pandemic, I do not go into work if I feel sick. It's not fair to me or anyone that has to work around me.
Exactly! Why is this so difficult to understand?
My workplace has a 3 day mandatory RTO policy so perhaps that’s a factor
No, I don't think anyone should be going into work sick after what we've experienced over the last three years. I'm sure your manager would understand.
Yea I should ask them if I really need to go in. They’ll probably say to sit in a different part of the office 🤦🏽♂️
We’ve all been there. If they’ve had it for “weeks” they’re probably not contagious… Most sicknesses you’re only contagious for the first week or so of symptoms. What are they supposed to do, stay out of the office for a month? I get there are people who lack the courtesy to stay home when they’re sick, but this doesn’t seem unreasonable.
They could at least wear a mask, that doesn’t seem unreasonable
