You probably don't want to hear this, but you probably need the time off. When you come back maybe try telehealth to avoid ending up back where you are now. I would take at least a month off and work with your own therapist & doctor until you're feeling better.

I am 100% telehealth and I am tired, but IMO is so much better than commuting to the office. Less time wasted, less rushing around, less stress in traffic, less time sick. But I know therapists that cant sit at a computer all day and would rather commute. It's worth a try, but you may need the time off.
I’m not sure what type of setting you are working in but I have one day a week of telehealth in a primary care setting seeing clients back to back for 30 min sessions and I feel equally tired on those telehealth days unfortunately. It helps a little I can hang out at home during my lunch break but still tiring for me

Telehealth is as exhausting too. But if you think that you really need a break, don't stop yourself from taking a few months off from work. Going back after a good rest will make you even more productive.
I really liked the flexibility I got with working remotely and being able to set my own hours. Not commuting ended up saving me a lot of time too!
