Hi. To loose weight to address pre diabetes, I started bulletproof drink in the morning then eating in the afternoon window timeframe. Lost 5#. Then reading The Diabetes Code learned that fasting was the way to go. Easily took off the desired pounds; was actually easy and no energy downside (maybe because my fatty liver has plenty stored). Dr Fung has a 30 and 36 hour fasting schedule, but even two meals on a day works. Happy that I just found fish bowl!
Stay hydrated when fasting - Water, Sparkling water, Green tea.
I fast two back to back days every two weeks. amazing mental clarity, believe it or not. I use the Isagenix system so you have a cleanse drink that provides the core nutrients your body needs to maintain blood sugars etc. it's a game changer for breaking through weight loss plateaus, and helps my body reset while purging toxins.
I'll do it for a couple weeks at a time. Lunch at 12, last meal by 8. Breakfast is black coffee. Cutting out sugar has help prevent feeling hungry later in the morning.
I do the same. It gets a little tough to plan my post workout meals tho cus If I go to the gym the night before, I can’t fast for 16 hours or I’d have to bring dinner to work and eat it before my workout
I usually eat between 10 am - 5 pm except on the weekends. Also you can download app called Zero to keep track of your fasting hours.

I recently started doing it. I try to fast from 6PM-10AM. Cut out all candy and soda. Eat overnight oats packed with peanut butter, Greek yogurt and fresh fruit at 10. Then rice and chicken for lunch and then generally ground sirloin burgers or sirloin/tenderloin steak for dinner

Quick update. After 5 weeks working out often and doing intermittent fasting I lost around 8lbs 💪
Didn’t intermittent fasting used to be called eating meals? I don’t get it. Basically isn’t it just not snacking?
Actually no. IF is only eating 8 hours in a day. Or fasting one day a week. So one can continue to snack only if it’s with in the eating period
Boom! OMAD for a while. Then I moved to 3on 21 off. Best damn thing I've ever done!
